Swapping your running boards???

So there is a current topic of conversation in the Expedition Tremor social media pages.

What's being suggested is that the running boards were mis labeled at the factory and were inadvertently put on backwards with the left on the right and right on the left.
Some have already swapped them and they bolt right up with no unusual concerns.

SO what about you are? Which camp are you in Ford in the back or the front?
I think I am keeping mine in the back as it came from the factory.

I saw this too for the super duties. Apparently the patterns match better for the doors.

If you choose to do this, maybe post up some pics. I was looking at mine the other day and if you look at the slots in the steps it does look like they are facing backwards. I'll put up some picks later.

So I've decided not to swap mine at least until someone make a good mud flap that doesn't cost 1200 dollars LOL.
I'll take any rock protection I can get, I can hear them hitting the boards coming off a gravel road as they get thrown from the tires.
